Indian e-Visa Seaports, Landports and Airports

Indian e-Visa holders can enter India through Air, Land & Sea. At the same time, travelers have options like Air, Sea, Land, and Rail for exiting the country. The travelers have the liberty to choose the authorized entry & exit.

India has 5 e-Visa options such as Tourist e-Visa, Business e-Visa, Medical e-Visa,Indian Medical Attendant e-Visa and Indian E-Conference Visa. Travelers who wish to travel to India can choose one according to their purpose.

Indian e-Visa holders can enter/exit India through below authorised Airports & Seaports. Please remember that you can enter India by authorized airports & seaports and exit through authorized Immigration Check Points such as sea, air, land & rail.

Electronic visa holders arriving to India are required to enter the country through the designated international airports. You may however exit from any of the authorised Immigration Check Posts (ICPs ) in India, which could be by air, sea, rail or road.

Please note that travelers can only enter and exit from these authorized airports & seaports. If you are planning to enter through any other seaport, landport or airport that is not on the list then you must have a regular visa.

Tourist e-Visa holders will only be issued at specific authorized airports -

The seven other airports where holders of tourist e-Visas can land are Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Amritsar, Gaya, Jaipur, Varanasi, and Thiruchirapalli. This went into effect from 2015
